Learning can be fun, but it can also be messy—and that is okay! While some of us say “bring on the fingerpaint,” others of us cringe at the word “glitter.” Wherever you are on that scale, fear not: Learning is happening! Skills are being gained! And, as they get older, they can help clean up!
As our children learn through the mess, their five senses are being developed, motor skills are being gained, and most importantly, memories are being made. There are ways to contain the mess and to keep your floors, clothes, and kiddos mostly clean (or at least easier to clean!). Let the mess happen, Mama, and join in the fun!
